Kayla Boisvert is a Senior Associate at Innovation Network and supports foundations and nonprofit partners such as the Kansas Health Foundation, Community Change, and others. She has expertise in evaluation and learning for/with systems change and advocacy initiatives, and she is passionate about pushing the field to be more equitable and transformational. Her work prioritizes learning and centers the experiences of those closest to the program, policy, or issue through participatory methodologies.
Before joining Innovation Network, Kayla spent 15 years working in education, mental health, substance use, and housing issues. She has worked in the US and in countries throughout Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa, first as a teacher/counselor and later as a researcher focusing on program evaluation and policy change. She has worked with government agencies, foundations/nonprofits, non-governmental organizations, UN agencies, and others.
Kayla is a Ph.D. candidate in international education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and she received her M.Ed. from the same program. In her free time, Kayla enjoys climbing, running, and drawing, and spending time with her dogs and family.
