Elaine Lander (she/they) is Evaluation & Learning Officer at Sierra Health Foundation and The Center where she supports organizational learning, facilitates strategic alignment, and develops grantee centered evaluations across government- and philanthropic-funded portfolios. With more than 15 years of experience in the social impact sector, Elaine is committed to interdisciplinary collaboration and deep, contextual understanding. She centers equity in her work through an approach of rigorous compassion and playful curiosity. Her diverse experiences surface alternate perspectives and creative approaches in her work.

Elaine also serves on the advisory panel of the Emergent Learning Community Project and is pursuing certification as an Emergent Learning Advanced Practitioner. Outside her professional activities, Elaine enjoys knitting, cooking over a campfire, and solving puzzles.
