This snapshot is part of a larger study on family-serving organizations or direct service organizations participating in policy and systems change work. This snapshot focuses on the Martha O’Bryan Center, a nonprofit that empowers children, youth, and adults in poverty to transform their lives through work, education, employment, and fellowship. The Martha O’Bryan Center leveraged partnerships with diverse organizations and institutions and built off its strong relationships with and knowledge of the community to address the benefits cliff in Middle Tennessee through an innovative pilot project to improve the lives of low-income families.
